Aurora agents: hand it off, and they do the whole job

AURORA AGENTS · EARLY ACCESS

What if the whole job did itself?

A one-minute story of handing off a big job to an agent that keeps working until it’s done. It plays by itself. No sound.

Aurora agents · Early access

Hand it off. Aurora agents do the whole job.

Ask in the Aurora chat you already use. A big request becomes an agent that keeps working after you close the panel, for hours or days, and reports back in the same conversation. By default, you see every send or change before it happens.

Illustration. Enrol the January group from this spreadsheet, then chase anyone who hasn’t signed in by Monday. Aurora hands the job to Dave. On the People page beside the chat, Dave reads the spreadsheet, matches 15 existing accounts, prepares 3 new ones and 18 enrolments, then asks: “Add 3 learners, enrol 18 and send the welcome email”. Once approved, the welcome email goes and Dave sleeps until Monday, when he chases anyone who hasn’t signed in.Illustration with synthetic data.
Watch them work

A week with your agents. You only step in for the yes.

Four jobs running side by side. Each agent gets on with its work, waits when it should, and brings you the decisions that are yours to make.

Jobs by role

Give it a name. Give it the job.

Every agent has a first name, so you always know who is doing what. Here’s what people hand off.

Hand off the admin that eats your week.

  • Dave · Working

Enrol a group from a spreadsheet

Adds new learners, enrols everyone on the right course, then chases anyone who hasn’t signed in.

Asks you before: adding learners and sending the welcome

  • Priya · Needs you

    Bring back old enquiries

Emails past leads about a new course from your own mailbox, sorts the replies, books calls and enrols the people who say yes.

Asks you before: each email and each enrolment

  • Sam · Waiting

    Set up a moderation sample

Picks a fair sample of marked work, sends it to your moderators and chases them before the deadline.

Asks you before: sending the work and the reminders

  • Ellie · Waiting

    Check who’s falling behind

Every Monday it finds learners who are slipping and sends each one a friendly nudge.

    Asks you before: the messages

  • Omar · Done

    Arrange a catch-up call

Finds everyone who failed a quiz, picks a time that suits them and books a catch-up call.

Asks you before: sending the invite

  • Grace · Working

    Write the board report

Pulls enrolments, progress and results into a short report with charts.

Asks you before: sharing it with anyone

Available now

Aurora already does a lot of this. Agents take it further.

These are in EduMark today. Agents join them up into one job that runs for days, with a name you can ask about.

  • Available now

    Routines

A Monday marking plan, a Friday recap, or a ping when learners need attention. Anything it writes stops at a draft for you.

  • Available now

    Reminders that send later

Draft a reminder or announcement now, schedule it for Thursday at 09:00, and repeat it until a date you choose.

  • Available now

    Work that carries on

Longer requests keep running in the background while you get on with other pages.

  • Available now

    Add learners from a spreadsheet

Attach the file and Aurora lines up every person for you to confirm. Invitations only go if you say so.

  • Available now

A drafted mark for every answer

Aurora drafts marks and feedback against your criteria. A named person approves every question before release.

  • Available now

    Charts from your files

Attach a spreadsheet and Aurora runs the numbers in a sealed sandbox with no internet, then draws the chart.

Ask anything

A question in. A real answer out.

Ask about your own organisation. Aurora works out the answer from your data, shows its working and draws the chart.

  • Only what you can see

Aurora reads your organisation’s data, limited to what you’re allowed to see.

  • Real code, locked down

It writes and runs code in a sealed sandbox with no internet, then shows you the code.

  • Answers you can keep

It draws the chart and can turn the result into a page your team can use.

You stay in control

You choose how much it asks.

“Ask before actions” is the default and shows you every send or change first. “Full access” goes ahead after a 5-second countdown you can cancel. Some things always need a person.

  • It runs as you

An agent can never do more than the person who started it.

  • It reads, never obeys

Emails, uploads and web pages are information, never instructions.

  • A receipt for everything

Every action leaves a receipt in the chat, with undo where possible.

  • Stop it any time

Pause or stop any agent from the Agents tab, mid-job.

Agents can hand their results to Aurora apps, the screens Aurora builds for your team.

Questions about Aurora agents

What is an Aurora agent?

It’s Aurora doing a whole job for you. You ask in the Aurora chat, and a big request becomes an agent with a first name that keeps working after you close the panel, for hours or days, and reports back in the same conversation.

Is it a separate app?

No. It’s the same Aurora chat you already use. Running agents show as small faces in EduMark’s top bar, and the Agents tab in the Aurora panel lists every job.

Will an agent release marks or results?

No. An agent can draft marks and feedback, but a named person approves every mark, and releasing results always needs a person.

What can an agent never do on its own?

Delete anything, go over the job’s credit limit, approve marks or release results. Those always need a person, whichever setting you choose.

What if an email tells it to do something?

It won’t. Text from emails, uploads and web pages is read as information and never obeyed. Agents only take instructions from the person who started the job.

Can learners use agents for their assessed work?

No. Learners can get a study plan, quizzes and a call booked with their tutor, but an agent never writes work that will be marked.
