What is MCP?

A common language
for connected agents.

Model Context Protocol gives AI applications a standard way to discover and use tools and information from other systems.

For EduMark, the opportunity is simple: let your chosen agent understand the educational context you can access and help you move through the work around it.

Designed around people

A useful next step.
Whatever your role.

These examples show the workflows we’re planning. Access will depend on your role, your organisation and the capabilities available at launch.

Planned for learners

Learning with your own context.

The plan: bring your course requirements, released feedback and progress into your chosen agent, so each study session can build on the last.

“What should I work on next, and why?”
  1. Find the right course and criteria
  2. Understand released feedback
  3. Plan practice around the gaps

Context deserves care

Built around trust.
Designed for useful action.

01 / Access

Your role sets the boundaries.

Connections are being designed around explicit permissions, organisation scope and the material you are entitled to use.

02 / Evidence

Keep the source in sight.

Our aim is to connect answers and proposed judgments to the right course version, original work and supporting evidence.

03 / Judgment

People keep the final say.

Consequential decisions need the appropriate review and approval. An agent’s suggestion must remain distinct from a released result.

A few things to know.

Can I connect an agent today?

EduMark MCPs are coming soon. We’ll publish connection instructions, supported clients and the capabilities you can use when they are ready. No launch date has been announced.

Will MCP access be included with my subscription?

We’re planning access for EduMark subscribers and an option for people who want to use EduMark through agents. Packaging, usage allowances and any standalone pricing will be confirmed before launch.

Will every agent see everything in my centre?

No. The design is based on delegated access: your role, organisation permissions and content entitlements determine what a connection may use. Some actions will require a separate approval.

How is this different from the Developer API?

The Developer API is for applications integrating specific EduMark services. MCP is the upcoming connection for agents to discover and use permitted tools and context. Explore the Developer API.
